The garden

La Maison Aubelle and its totally secluded walled garden extend over 2000m² (½ acre). Apart from the Jardin apartment’s terrace and the owners’ private terrace, beyond the tower, the garden is for everyone’s use, for picnicking or just relaxing. The terrace, with its wooden tables and chairs, large parasols and pots of citrus plants, is also available for everyone except when it is being used for the table d’hôte dinner on fine evenings.

There is a 9m x 5m heated open-air swimming pool in the far corner of the garden, next to the picturesque well which supplies water for outdoor use.

The outbuilding has been converted into a games room, with an outdoor chess set in its sunken courtyard. A fountain bubbles in the small, decorative goldfish pool.
