The Stable apartment is on two floors in the restored and converted Napoleon III stable, part of the old stable and coach house block.

On the ground floor is a living room which retains the original exposed beams, manger and hayrack, with a sofa, a Turkish rug on a terra cotta tiled floor, various equestrian artefacts. A seventeenth century marriage chest stands under one window.

A round dining table and pine chairs are there for you to enjoy the fruits of your marketing and preparation in the separate kitchen, fully equipped with pine units, including a double sink. If you like to explore the markets and cook for yourselves, this, and/or the Coach House, depending on the number in your party, is for you.

An oak staircase leads to a very large bedroom with its original roof timbers, decorated in tranquil shades of blue and cream. 21st century space technology insulation ensures not only warm winters but also cool summers. There is a choice of kingsize or twin beds with a fitted oak bedhead incorporating table alcoves with bedside lights as well as a large chest of drawers and plenty of hanging space. Blue rugs decorate the honey-coloured sprung parquet floors.

The bathroom has a full-size bath with thermostatically-controlled shower taps and a glass shower screen, as well as a large vanitory unit. There is a separate loo.
